• The lawsuit, filed on March 27, alleged that the global crypto exchange offered its derivatives trading services to U.S. customers without applying for a derivatives license.

In the suit, the CFTC has demanded that Binance should be banned from  trading on registered entities, holding any commodity interest or directing any trading of digital assets.

• These demands would effectively destroy Binance’s business.

Binance has already rejected a number of allegations and claims from the commodities regulator, hinting that a more in-depth response is incoming.
